Several lovely shades of pink ribbon, fine lace and pretty passementerie trims combine to form an especially attractive vintage powder puff wand , c. teens ~ 1920's.

This nice old puff has never been used and remains in the original box.

It is decorated with very pretty ribbonwork and other period trims, as well as a large handmade pink rosette.   The silk ombre ribbon graduates from pale pink, to a peachy pink, to a richer, darker pink at the edge.  A very fine lace, which I believe may be French bobbin, possibly Lille, circles the entire puff perimeter, as well as the handle, culminating in a large decorative bow.

This entire patter was hand stitched, including all of the ribbonwork ruching and attaching all of the lace and other trims.

It is in very nice vintage estate condition.  White velvety puff is clean and patter appears to have never been used.  The fine lace does show one small storage speck and one tiny area of wear, likely from contact/rubbing on box for many years.  Please see last image.  Due to the gathers and ruffles in the lace this is hard to detect, but there nonetheless.  There is plenty of lace and it would be easy to make a small seam here to remedy if perfection is required, however in our humble opinion this is quite minor and inconsequential.  All ribbon, rosettes, other trims and balance of lace remains in very nice condition.  The box is white, covered in a patterned paper that shows some bumps and surface issues, (appears a tag may have been removed and pulled some of the decorative paper off) but it is structurally solid and sound.

Really a nice quality, very attractive and collectable Flapper era boudoir vanity item.
