A very nice set of unused vintage high quality, fine Irish linen double damask large dinner napkins, each still retaining the original ~ Made In Ireland ~ tag, c. 1920's - 30's.

The napkins feature a very attractive floral chrysanthemum motif, accented with a regal fleur-de-lis design and fancy scrolls.

They are white, not absolutely pure white, but with a just slight hint of cream., although this will probably lighten with first wash.

Two sides of each napkin have a selvage edge, but the other two sides are un-finished. I t appears that they were cut from a large bolt, or length of napkin yardage and then never hemmed.

The napkins have never been used and were carefully stored for many years.   They are in extremely nice estate condition, with one napkin showing an age/storage related one inch light discolored area and a few tiny similar specks to another, (not rust) which will certainly resolve with laundering.   Overall condition is very good, with no darkening along folds or other problems.

A very nice and harder to find large group of eleven high quality old Irish linen dinner napkins.
