A lovely vintage white nightdress case, hand embroidered with padded satin stitch in an Art Nouveau scroll and stylized heart design, embellished with fine drawn work, hand stitching and lace, c. 1900 ~ 1920.

This is an envelope style lingerie case, with a fold over flap.  This style of case, especially with fancy embroidery and lace as this example, easily makes a very attractive boudoir pillow; just insert pillow form, available at most fabric and craft stores.
The case appears to all hand stitched, with hand drawn work and hand made lace.  Satin stitching forms stylized hearts at each corner, accented with center scrolls.

The night dress case is in very good overall condition, with just a few very tiny, smaller than pencil eraser size and very diffused pale, off white discolorations.  See fourth image.  Likely remove with soak.

Linen and lace are strong and free of holes, tears, snags, etc.
Lovingly made and ready to be used and enjoyed for another 100 years.
