A matching pair of unused antique, very fine linen, white fancy continental show pillow shams or cases, c. 1910-20.

The pillowcases are decorated with expertly finished white satin stitch eyelet cutwork and satin stitch multi floral and scallop embroidery.

The backs open up for pillow insertion and close with 3 old fabric covered buttons, which are present.

The shams are in excellent, unused condition, with no stains, holes, snags, rust or any other problem..  While photographing the linens I noticed one had light storage marks along the original fold lines, so I laundered and pressed both and they are now fresh and sparkling white.  An exceptionally nice pair of high quality, fine, never used antique cases.
