A very nice, long length of unused antique robin egg blue silk ribbon, featuring an attractive linear pattern detail, dating to the latter 19th or early 20th century.

Wide ribbon such as this example were often used in Victorian and Edwardian periods as sash belts, scarves and other adornments.

The ribbon is in exceptionally nice antique estate condition, with no signs of moisture stains, rust, etc.  Held to the light I find no pin holes, breaks or any other problems.  The ribbon appears strong and stable and is one continuous length.  Color remains rich and vibrant, with no fading.  The first image was taken in direct light, so color appears slightly lighter than actual.  Second and third images more accurately reflect the rich robin egg blue green color.
I did a burn test on a small piece of this fabric and it is positively natural silk, NOT a synthetic!
