This very fine antique trim embellishment likely originated in France.

The intricate lace like bronzy gold base is interwoven with fine pink silk floss ribbon over linen, or possibly fine cotton, such as lisle.

This trim is in extremely nice antique estate condition.  It is new old stock and has never been used.  Obviously well cared for it appears strong and stable; we see no problems or issues of any kind. If you collect antique and vintage ribbons and passementerie trims this is a very nice long unused length of French metallic lace ribbonwork embellishment, perfect for clothes, millinery, doll dressing, vanity items and other projects.
