A very fine long continuous length of unused antique metallic lace, probably originating in France, with a lovely flowing floral and foliage pattern design, accented with scalloped edges on both sides.

This lace is in exceptionally nice antique estate condition.  It appears unused.  We see no rips, holes, snags, tears, breaks, etc.   When we found this lace it was rolled, seemingly stored this way for many years.  Subsequently there is no weakness at fold lines, etc. and the entire length of lace feels strong and very useable.

The color has mellowed to a rich bronze gold hue, possibly just slightly more bronzy than photographed, as these images were taken in bright, direct sunlight.

If you enjoy antique and vintage French lame lace and passementerie trims this is a very nice condition, long usable length of lace, perfect for any number of projects.
