A very interesting two piece vintage sterling silver figural brooch set, c. 1940's, featuring a nautical theme eight spoke ship's wheel and compass.

Both pieces are hallmarked sterling, with a rose gold gilt wash and very sparkly hand prong set blood red faux ruby rhinestones.  The chain connecting the two appears to be a combination of silver and rose.

They are both in exceptionally nice condition.  This brooch had been stored in a velvet box for years and really does not appear to have ever been worn.  The sterling is free of dings, scratches and other problems.  The stones all appear to be original; they are very sparkly, firmly set and free of discoloration, scratches, etc.  The chain connector is in good condition.  Older roll over type safety clasp, hinge and pin all appear to be original and are in perfect working order.

An exceptionally nice condition, unusual vintage figural sterling brooch set.
