Rich, vibrant champleve enamel decorates the entire surface of this attractive antique Victorian dore bronze tray, which we believe is French in origin, Napoleon III era, c. 1880's - 90's.

Of rectangular form, with appealing scallops and curves, the tray is footed and features pierced handles.

The interesting floral and foliate champleve enamel work was executed in sumptuous colors of cobalt, green, lavender, pink, ruby, turquoise, white and yellow, on a gold gilt ground.

It is in very nice antique estate condition.  We see no missing enamel.  One small section of cobalt blue is not as smooth as the rest...color appears to be original.  See last image of handle, on cobalt blue scroll design.
A very attractive, solid and substantial desk, vanity or dresser accessory.
